09/23/2009 The past few daze have gone by kwikly. Dallas' show wuz jis like the rest, alotta fun! Shake & summa his Dallas Posse rolled thru & sat N. Alwayz a blast dewN that. Man, my homies lost a game that they shoodn't have! We were able 2C it on the screen @ sdchk. Kungratz 2 the Bears. It wuz sumthin' 2B N Dallas after their loss. I will send up a prayer for #9. He's gunna need it if that happenz again frum the way the locals were tawkN. The next night we hooked up & grubbed @ P. F. Chang's. The storms rolled N that evening. The bus kawl wuz for 5:30 am. We rolled right N2 the campus of the University of Houston for a class. That wuz packed and lasted frum 11:30 until 2. Frum thar, we went 2 sdchk. Come showtime, that place wuz packed! Houston wuz rockN 4 realio! Needless 2 say I wuz beat after that FUNkfest. Bus kawl wuz @ 3am & here we R N Naw 'Linz. kinda rested up abit 2dey. The Lee Boys R on the bill 2nite & will B hitN N about 15 minutes. I have afew pix awreddy but my connection cable iz N anutha bag. Off I got 2 listen, & learn. Back @ about 1-ish, az we hafta roll out 4 Jacksonville, FL afterwardz. Cheers! 2:16 and the pix R headN 2 Shane. We had anutha killN nite of musc. Vic had the Lee Boys sit N & whew! Yawl missed it. 09/19/2009 Lotsa Footbawl 2deyo! We R N Lincoln, Nebraska. Wow! 1 point. O well. There iz next week! Those 4 penalties as they were sooooooo close kinda jacked them up. Letz C, we hit a music store kawld Dietz. Shoot, I don't kno' if I spelled that 1 ko-reck-lee. It wuz packed & kool 2 dew. I ran akross the skreet 2 Sonic after we finished. Nice snack! Afterwardz, we had a longggggg sdchk. We played a nice l'il theatre kawld the Rococo. They had db restrictionz. Wooooooo---shhhhhhhhh. The yungunz did a Gr8 job 2nite & even got N sum ovatime. 09/17/2009 Hi! Yesterday iz gone. Tomorrow iz here. Wow! I'll B fast. We did a class @ West Music at 1-ish . After that, I feasted on a steak burger. Frum thar, 2 The Picador 4 a sdchk. Reno shot a Flip HD moment of a new tune comN 2 life. Loox good. We played jis after 10:30 til almost 1. Twaz a very nice Hawkeye crowd! Itz now goin' on 4 am & we R headN 2 Kansas. 09/16/2009 6:15 came kinda kwik. Bout the same time it does every 12 hrz I reckon. I'm N my bunk, w/out my spex so I'll try 2 limit my typos. I wuz lyN here thinkN about how peaceful it iz N here now. AirbodE iz sleepN, or bout 2B. Hint. God haz been kwte merciful w/allowN us 2 travel safely. So much iz loomN, but we R Ndeed blessed. C yawl, I'm goin' back 2 sleep. A brutha needs his glasses! Doh! Jis B4 noon, we stopped & I gassed up @ Wendy's. There wuzza Steeler mag so I bought it too. Kain't git enuff of those back home. da Fellas will B @ Soldier Field this Sunday. I'll B N Dallas, tryN 2C it on da TV. After I 8, I got back N2 da bunk & crashed out. 8:18 pm - Man, this iz like the dey that won't kwit. We pulled up 2 a hotel & hopped N2 a ride that zipped about 40 miles 2wards Chi' 2 an outdoor klinik @ Hix Bros. (Long ol' scen-tance ain't it?) I told Vic that I haven't been outside that long N yrz! We had fun & while he wuz signN I ran down the skreet 2 Steak & Shake. "Yummy Bay-Bay!" We got back 2 "Here" a l'il bit ago & did a FUNky soundcheck. I'm on the bus & we shood B FUNkN N about an hr or so. Jis afta 9 & we wuz popN. Nasty Grooves! Thatz awl Ikin say. O, Vic said that he din' know of any duo that kood hit like we did 4 ova 3 hrz. I must agree. No brag, jis fact. 09/15/2009 Yep. Itz bout an hr left & it'll B time 2, "Lock it down!" My day started @ 7 when I ran akross the skreet 2 Cracker Barrell. Since we stayed the nite, the bus rolled @ 8:30. When we got 2 the next hotel, I regrouped. After 45 minnitz the bus rolled 2 da gig. We set up shop & had 2 figure out our 'lektronic stuff frum March. I'm also usin' the Twain Tour Rack this time az opposed 2 the plastic Rack frum March. THAT wuz funny! When we started playN, the Groove came thru like a 10 ton elephant. Shood B fun, & alot of it. Reno & I got sum slamN Mexican food afterwardz. I owed him 4 the 'ghetti cords I packed. ;) I've spent the past l'il while watchN the Steeler Season Pass that I purchased. Thank God 4 #6 & I'm fired up 2 try & Play Like a Champion. BTW, tharz no disrespect 2 Ne of U who C me N the Steeler Jersies come showtime. Itz jis the mentality of the organization that I use 2 help me to focus. Thar will B Colts fanz here & we R due 2 hit Jacksonville, Tampa, Dallas, Houston, & New Orleans. Again, I am not diss'N Ne1. 09/14/2009 Good travels so far! I woke up this mornin' jis afta 5. Kinda wuz havN a nitemare. Ha! I grabbed a bowl of Flakes & headed out 2 meet the bus. The buss arrived @ 7, & we were on the road atad after 8. I grabbed a burger a little after 2. I'm here @ the store & typN frum my bunk. I wuz N Pittsburgh Thursday 4 the game. That wuzzablast. Itz a drag about Troy, but az of a little bit ago itz not a very bad scenario. PTL! I'm lis'nin 2 Steeler net Radio. Seemz that the runN game iz takN a back seat 2 the passN attack. Az long az it posts N the Win column I reckon. Gotta soundcheck! Gotta hit the class! This place wuz killer! Huge & suh-weet! Sweetwater Rocks! We hit the main room, & ventured ova 2 the ova-flo' room & playd 4 them. Twon't no kit N thar, so I played on a box. Very nice. @ 11:12 pm, Vic iz still signin' like a mugg! Nice folx.
